If you prefer something more energetic, hike up Monte Stella for phenomenal views of Monte Gelbison.

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tPozzillo Beach stretches between Santa Maria and Santa Marco, boasting fine sands and a gently sloping shoreline. Like all Castellabate beaches, it proudly displays the Bandiera Blu, the Blue Flag for excellent water quality. Hire a sun lounger and a parasol from Mauro at La Tartaruga beach bar, or enjoy refreshments at one of the small beach stalls. In Cilento, you’ll encounter plenty of water buffalo. They provide milk for the famous buffalo mozzarella. Try it the local way: fresh, at room temperature, with just a drop of olive oil.
