Equipment

At A’ Cràpa Mangia, there is no apartment without its own terrace and no terrace without a sea view. You should be able to enjoy it comfortably – around the table, stretched out on one of the sun loungers and pleasantly shaded thanks to the appropriate sun protection. For a quick cool-down after sunbathing, simply jump under the outdoor shower.

A good night’s sleep is essential if you really want to relax on vacation. We make sure of this with extra-long beds and orthopaedic mattresses. Bed linen, towels, tea towels and tablecloths are included in the rental price, Wi-Fi is available free of charge throughout the complex. High chairs, baby cribs, a crib and bath stools are available for our younger guests, and yoga mats are available for sporty guests. Just talk to us.
We love to cook. That’s why our kitchens are well equipped: with a fridge, gas hob and oven. Plus enough pots, pans, glasses and crockery to prepare your favorite dish or a new one from the Cilento that could soon become one. Mocha, electric espresso machine, milk frother and citrus juicer for your coffee or tea ensure a good mood in the morning or a refreshment in between.

Although rather unusual, we offer our guests water in glass bottles. For the sake of the environment. And because we think it tastes best that way. Get water to your taste from the Hofbar and pay conveniently when you check out.

We know: The right feel-good temperature is individual. Make yourself comfortable. We charge for firewood, heating and air conditioning according to consumption.

Your stay

Young and old should feel equally at home with us. That’s why we also have entertainment offers especially for children. For toddlers and babies, we provide cribs, high chairs and bathroom stools at no extra charge.

Well-behaved, small to medium-sized dogs are welcome to stay in specially adapted apartments for an additional charge of 90 euros for the final cleaning. These are apartments whose terraces have a secure area for dogs to run free. Beyond this, dogs must be kept on a lead, as our estate is also home to free-roaming cats. Our sofas, armchairs and beds are of course reserved for our two-legged guests.

Check-in is from 16:00, check-out in the low season at 11:00, in the high season until 10:00. Individual arrangements are possible by arrangement. Apartment keys and access to the grounds are ready for your arrival from the check-in time. This means that if you arrive late, you can get to your vacation home without any problems, even outside our office hours.
We will contact you by e-mail ten to 14 days before your arrival. You will receive directions including the telephone number for the automatic opening of the entrance gate. For transfers, we will make sure that your arrival time has not changed. When you arrive, we will welcome you with a short tour of the common areas of the estate and the apartment. If you leave before 9:00 am, we will prepare the final bill for the previous day. You can simply leave the keys at the door or on the table.
WLAN is available free of charge throughout the estate.

The total rent includes bed linen, towels, tablecloths and tea towels. In addition, the entire kitchen equipment. An espresso machine with coffee tabs, a classic mocha and a French press as well as sugar, pepper, salt and water in glass bottles are also waiting for you on arrival.

The total rent also includes a change of linen after a 7-day stay. The heating of the apartments and the air conditioning are excluded. Both are charged separately according to consumption. For stays of less than six nights, a rate for the short stay (cleaning) will be charged additionally. If you require extra cleaning of the apartment during your stay, we will organize this for a fee of 12 euros/hour. We also offer a laundry service for 6 euros / wash. You will get your clean laundry back to hang up.

We rent self-catering apartments. In our self-service farm bar we offer a daily bread roll service and some products. We have milk, butter, fruit juice, honey and fresh eggs from our hens in stock. You can also buy home-produced olive oil and water in glass deposit bottles in the farm bar.

You are welcome to help yourself to the fruits and herbs that ripen on our grounds.

A fruit and vegetable market is held three times a week in Santa Maria (a district of Castellabate by the sea). On Saturdays, there is a weekly market with everything from clothing to fruit, vegetables and cheese. You are also welcome to order fresh pasta from us, which we will pick up for you in San Marco.

Of course, you can also stay with us for just one night. However, we charge a rate (cleaning) for short stays, i.e. for bookings of less than six nights.
Lots of them! And for every taste. But beware: here in the countryside there are still days off and opening times vary with the season. So let’s have a chat on site and find out together which one is right for you.
The possibilities here are incredibly varied. You can go swimming, hiking, cycling or motorcycling or play tennis or padel. There are numerous excursion destinations in the immediate vicinity (Castellabate, Punta Licosa, Punta Tresino, Agropoli) or a day trip away (Pompei, Paestum, Vesuvius, Naples, Amalfi Coast, Salerno, Capri). You can find even more inspiration on our Activities page. But what we particularly recommend: First, put your feet up and really rest and relax in the resort.

On request, we can organize transfers to and from the airport and train station, as well as a shuttle service within the municipality.
You can hire bikes and e-bikes in Santa Maria. Or you can hire a scooter or car in Agropoli or Santa Maria. The vehicles can be delivered to the resort.
Basically, you are more flexible when planning your vacation with a car. As we would like to support your arrival by public transport, we offer transfers to and from the airport, as well as to and from the train station in Agropoli. We also offer you the opportunity to stop off at the supermarket. A bus service to the neighboring village of Santa Maria departs twice a day from the nearest bus stop about 300 meters from the estate. Shuttle services can also be organized by arrangement.

Payment & Cancellation Policy

We accept Visa and Mastercard cards.

If you wish to cancel your booking, you must declare this in writing. We charge 20% of the rental price up to twelve weeks before the start of the rental period. If you cancel up to four weeks before the arrival date, 50% of the rental price will be charged. After that 80% of the rental price will be charged. We will endeavor to find a replacement tenant for the vacant period. In the event of successful re-letting, payment of the rental price is waived.

Celebrate & Work

You are welcome to organize your party with us according to your wishes. There is room for up to 40 guests in our hall and up to 80 guests in the outdoor courtyard. Overnight accommodation is available on the estate for up to 48 guests, as well as baby cribs, a crib and three extra beds. Are you planning a wedding in Castellabate? We will be happy to assist you with the organization, whether it’s a church or civil ceremony.

We also organize pasta courses in our dining room. We can either just prepare the pasta together so that you can cook it to your taste in your apartment afterwards. Or we can combine the pasta course with a meal together.

All our apartments and the entire complex are equipped with a very good internet connection. The best conditions for your workation. If you are planning a working stay in a team, you can also use our large room with standard work materials (tables and chairs, flipchart with presentation case and projector). If you are planning a seminar that integrates movement and bodywork, we have massage benches and yoga mats for this purpose. More detailed information about our event room can be found here.
